Only by reading the title of this post you must be wondering: “What’s wrong with this woman!?” September…optimistic….REALLY? September is when “unfortunate” things occur, like the following: Vacations are over …for good! For the next 9 months or so, we parents, will be trying to make our children study and “grow up”. Teenagers can sometimes be very hard to deal with. That’s not something new, I know! But September seems to underline this! Summer is still here, especially in the mediterranean countries, like Greece where I live! The weather is still great but at the same time “next summer” is almost 10 months away! Psycho??? Expenses are huge every beginning of the school year! Taxes payments are also choking every middle family! We spend more time in the house and so…soccer is always on TV. I don’t know about you but I have three of them (males) in…

You think that you don’t know your city well? At least not as well as you know the last city you’ve travelled abroad? What if I asked you to tell a tourist what and where are the best things to do and see in your city? Are you sure you can do that? If not so sure, this post is for you! After I returned from my second trip in Rome about 1 1/2 ago, I felt I knew everything about that city! It was a family trip (our kids were at the time 12,5 and 14 years old. It was their second trip abroad (first 4 years ago in Berlin). Thank god they are “travel junkies” and they like to wander around cities and walk, walk , walk… Of course there is a limit to that! As you can already understand, I’m about to take a short trip. It’s a one day trip. I love that kind of short trips. They are easy to organize and nothing is actually difficult to set up. You don’t have time to get board in case you don’t like the destination (you have time to quarrel though-so be careful!) and practically nothing to worry about. That was easy, we can do it again very soon!” If you’re lucky and nothing sudden gets in your way you WILL do it again soon. That’s how life becomes happier, full of possibilities and chances of calmness. I travel often this way the last years that my wallet is small and travelling abroad is not quite easy.…

It’s the 2nd of February today and Christianity celebrates Candlemas! But my world, celebrates Suzette, the most perfect orange crepe ! You are probably wondering what came to me and suddenly Christianity is a subject for today’s post, but whoever knows me already sees behind the lines! I know very little about Christian habits and celebrations (I prefer astrophysics). Moreover, some of you already know how ridiculous I believe is the fact that every day of the year is dedicated to something, anything! Important Notice! Nothing ridiculous about the days that serve social and health purposes in order to support people in need! But, let’s avoid being extremely serious and come back to the main subject here – The Crepe!!! Today not only Christianity but the whole world should be celebrating the one and only French Crepe! Yeah! Clap your hands in the air!! But how on earth…
